Original German-made Graetz “Joker” multiband portable transistor radio featuring its original cream leatherette-covered cabinet, large front speaker grille, multiband tuning scale, and carrying handle. An attractive example with excellent cosmetic presentation and a great candidate for restoration or display. Type: All Transistor Multiband Portable Radio. Country of Manufacture: Germany. Color: Cream with white and gray accents. Radio was tested and is currently non-functional. No sound or station reception was produced during testing. No repairs or restoration have been attempted. Reasonable offers welcome, happy to work with buyers. Very nice overall vintage cosmetic condition. Cabinet is clean and displays very well. Carrying handle is present, clean, and fully intact. Front speaker grille is in excellent condition. All original knobs and push buttons are present. Tuning scale is clean and easy to read. Small hairline crack is present beneath the “Joker” logo near the letter E. It does not appear to affect the structural integrity of the cabinet. There is an additional age mark, scratch, or surface blemish near the “Joker” logo that does not appear to be a crack. Letters “R” and “O” in the word “TRANSISTOR” along the lower front are partially faded from age. Left side of the cabinet has a deeper scratch in the leatherette covering. Top right corner has a light smudge or surface mark on the plastic trim. Cabinet has minor age-related scuffs, scratches, and surface wear consistent with normal vintage use.
