Vintage Lafayette Model HB-400 Tube 23 Channel CB Radio Transceiver Parts Repair. This radio powers up with no hum. Includes microphone and power cord. I have transmit with a squeal and no receive. I know that although the microphone plugs in right, however it’s not original and could be wired wrong. It came off of a more modern Lafayette radio and they may not have the same wiring configuration. This I will leave to you but I needed to let you know because I believe that if it was wired correctly, that you could have both transmit and receive. I do believe that this radio will be fine in the right hands. Check the microphone wiring and I think that it will work fine. The HB 400 was the top of the line in it’s day and are still very comfortable today. Thank you for looking.
