This Heathkit transmitter is in fair-to-good cosmetic condition. Someone had added sheet metal on top of and under the chassis. I have no idea why. Also, there are holes drilled into the bottom of the cabinet. Again, I have no idea why. It’s missing the feet (and screws) that hold the cabinet and chassis together, so be careful when removing it from the box. This one will make a great parts unit if nothing else. After nearly eight years in business, we’ve made the decision to no longer test vintage equipment that’s been sitting idle for long periods of time. That’s right, this item is untested. I apologize for this, but we’ve simply encountered too many problems. But that doesn’t necessarily mean this is a junker!
