The radio powers on and static can be heard. Volume is unresponsive to the volume adjustment knob. The station knob does change what’s happening through the speaker. The clock works and can be set to the correct time. I don’t know how to set the alarm so that’s untested. No chips or cracks, there is something small rattling inside the radio and can be heard when you tilt the radio back and forth. The original cord is stiff but free of dry rotted wire coating.
