This is a Blaupunkt Köln SELECTOMAT (signal seeker) Export-Super 34750 model radio. Of the Blaupunkt Köln radio. The serial number V 767162 on the radio begins with a “V” indicating 1964/1965 vintage. This is the top of the line Blaupunkt Radio for this period. The FM band goes to 108 for use in the USA. (signal seeker) radio has three signal seeker settings (blue, red and green) on the turn ring behind the right knob (SELECTOMAT sensitivity selector). The push-button operated SELECTOMAT automatically searches for radio station signal strength. This Blaupunkt Köln SELECTOMAT radio is adaptable to either a 6-volt or 12-volt system and is comprised of two units: the radio and the amplifier, connected thru an approximately 50 cm long cable. The amplifier can be mounted behind, on top, or below the radio. This radio has not been tested. It should only be considered as a candidate for parts or restoration.
