WORKED ON MY 6 TUBE 1938 CONSOLE. AND MY 8 TUBE CONSOLE. IF TRANSFORMER GETS HOT. ON 8 OR 10 TUBER, AFTER PLAYING FOR A LONG TIME. ADD POWER RESISTOR IN SERIES. 500 TO 800 OHMS. FOR WHAT EVER FIELD YOU NEED. APPROX 4 3/8” BETWEEN MOUNTING HOLES.
