A majority of our items are still sealed with original tape, or have been visually inspected to make sure they are PRISTINE AND CLEAN, even if the box is aged or discolored. This means you might order, for example, a cassette player, in its original box, looking pristine, but like all vintage electronics. It might need some tinkering. Tinkering could mean anything from just turning knobs patiently to get the sound alive again, to needing to lubricate or replace belts to get into perfect working condition. Any collector will know this but we recognize some consumers may not and we don’t want you to be surprised. It’s quite rewarding actually and you’ll appreciate this nostalgic item even more. We won’t sell anything we visually inspect and are worried it may not work unless noted.
