Vintage Early 1940s Motorola Receiver Base, Model 500. This unit appears all original and the color is still bright for its age. The chrome has some surface rust. The’Motorola’ logo runs horizontally across the the chrome bar on the front while “500” runs vertically down the center under the only knob on the unit, which is bright green. This unit would have come with a tuning head, which we do not have. We did not crack the unit open to look inside, nor did we test it or alter it in any way. It’s very heavy weighing nearly 19lbs and measures 11″ by 7″ by 8. The unit comes exactly as pictured. We use new boxes.
