National NC-183D Vintage Ham Radio Receiver Modified for Parts or Restoration. This receiver came from a ham radio operator who is in the process of downsizing his massive collection. It had been stored in his garage, and hasn’t been touched in over a decade. The cabinet and faceplate are in fair condition, but there are plenty of scratches in the paint. The chassis is pretty dirty, as you may be able to see in the photos. You’ll also see that this receiver has been modified, per the KD0ZS articles that appeared in Electric Radio magazine in 2005 (issues 191 and 192) We have made no attempt to power-on this unit or test in any way.
