In its day, the JT-V77 was JVC’s Top of The Line Tuner and with its silver face and incandescent lamps, it truly captures that late 1970s look from when it was manufactured. It pulls in Stereo FM signals (even those quite some distance away) with clarity and ease. Both of the Meters and all of the lamps work – including the Stereo and Tuning Hold Indicator lamps. The not as good. There is a small, barely visible hairline crack in the glass plastic? Behind the Tuning Knob at about the 1 o’clock position. (Have to look for it). There are some age-related blemishes on the cover which are difficult to see in the images. The parcel measures 25″ x 17″ x 11 and weighs 19 pounds. I have no control over that service or what they might charge. I have heard it can be expensive.
