A unique, one of a kind radio that would look great in your antique car or hot rod. This is a Motorola model 301 under the dash mounted radio from the 1940’s. It has been professionally powder coated light brown hammertone The Motorola emblem has been repainted. It has a new Kenwood KDC158U stereo and CD player in it. The stereo has a lot of features. It has a pair of Kenwood KFC1095PS speakers. The stereo plays flash drives and I’ll enclose one that I picked up at a swap meet that has a lot of old 1950 and early 1960’s rock and roll songs. The front cover has a piano hinge on the bottom and it is held closed with a custom magnetic catch. This unit is 11 ” wide, 8 ” high , and 6 deep The new stereo sticks out the back but you don’t see it because the radio mounts under the dash. All of the little nuts and screws are stainless. The grills directly in front of the speakers are stainless. The rod couplings on the top for mounting are galvanized. I will also enclose two 12 volt 4 inch long led strips with 6 LED’s on each one You can mount them under the dash and and they will shine down and illuminate the radio at night. These old radios are getting harder and harder to find, and more and more expensive. I probably won’t be building many more.
