Here is a rare Wards Model 62-425 Indian Head radio from around the 1936/1937 era. Some restoration work has been started but not completed. The transformer is not original but it appears to be a close substitute. The original dial, bezel and glass are inluded but not the original drive band which connects from the tuning shaft to the dial shaft which makes the dial turn. The speaker appears to be the original and the DC ohms resistances are marked on the field coil and output transformer respectively. The speaker cone has had some patch work done to it as shown in the photo’s and it does work. The IF and oscillator coils have been checked for continuity. The cabinet has had a beautiful refinishing job done to it and it looks almost like it came from the factory. A variety of diffenent grill cloths are available on line from various suppliers The two mounting bolts for the chassis along with the three speaker mounting bolts & nuts are included and they are the originals.
