National RX-1540 Junk and Parts RADIO CASSETTE RECORDER. Junk and Parts RADIO CASSETTE RECORDER This is a vintage Showa retro National made radio cassette recorder that is in used condition. This product is a product that came out of my parent’s closet. Regarding the condition, this radio cassette player is over 20 years old, so there are some scratches, dirt, etc. But overall it is a beautiful radio cassette player! Regarding the operation, I was able to perform simple playback, fast forwarding, and rewinding, but the recording was somewhat unstable! There is minimal rust inside the battery, and operation has been confirmed with 5 AA batteries for testing. Also, the AC cord outlet in photo 4 seems to have a slight crack inside and has caved in a bit. Please maintain it and use it, or use it for collection. (4-10 days to arrival).
