This is a good looking Collins transceiver, however it does have some problems. It was acquired from a ham who is in the process of downsizing his massive collection. Overall, we’d say it’s in good physical condition. The faceplate looks great, and while the cabinet and trim ring show some wear (scuffs/scratches, etc), the paint is not faded or discolored at all. The interior is very clean. Unfortunately, as you can see in the photos, the serial number tag has fallen off. The radio had a note on it which read “no plate current reading after adjusting bias”. When we turned it on, we found that there was no audio output at all, despite all the tubes filaments lighting up. With all this in mind, we decided to not test the radio any further and to sell it 100% as-is. A reproduction manual is included. Please note that no power supply is included with the radio.
