Collins Radio Company receiver front panel assembly with 70E-15 PTO from an old electrical supply collection. This is a vintage communications receiver chassis/front panel, featuring Collins type 70E-15 sealed PTO (serial M12777, Cedar Rapids, IA; 2-3 MHz range over 10 turns for stable VFO operation). Controls include crystal filter SELECTIVITY/PHASING, BFO ON/OFF/PITCH, RF GAIN, AUDIO GAIN, BAND CHANGE (0-10), AVC ON/OFF, LIMITER IN/OUT, CALIBRATE, ANT/ZERO trim, meters for RF INPUT (dB) and carrier level, STAND BY/PHONES/SPEAKER, and more. Tube-based design with mechanical filter elements, geared tuning, and typical Collins military/comms construction (likely 51J-series or R-388 variant). Untested/incomplete (panel assembly only; missing rear sections, full chassis, power supply, or cabinet). No additional accessories included beyond attached power cord. In generally great cosmetic condition for age, with heavy typical wear including rust, oxidation, dust, patina, missing knobs/covers, and exposed internals. Packaging, paperwork, or original documentation not included unless shown. Tube checks, recapping, PTO calibration if possible, sourcing missing parts, and proper use.
