This radio does power on but only makes a buzzing noise. It does not tune to any stations. I tried what I could to see if I could get it working but since the radio is from the year 1947, I tried not to touch any of the insides except the power cord. Zenith Model 8G005Y TransOceanic Radio (1947 Post War). Radio is in good/fair condition for a radio from the 40s. I only wiped it down with a towel. The antenna is intact and in good condition. Outside only has a chip as pictured. I don’t know anything about radio repair but the inside of the radio looks to be intact but I maybe wrong.
