This is a modular radio where the head unit can be remote mounted (hidden) and all CB functions are controlled by the hand held unit. This unit is listed in the Volvo 240 accessory catalogs from mid 1970s into the 1980s. These were originally installed in Volvo 240 police cars and were available in North America as a dealer accessory for your new Volvo 240 or 260 back in the day. Of course you can mount this in any Volvo if you like the idea of having a genuine Volvo CB radio. The radio and all installation parts are included except for the antenna which was offered separately and I don’t have it. Every thing is sealed in wrappers except that I opened the hand held unit to get photos. All instructions and brochures are present. Don’t let this rare accessory pass you by.
