For sale is a vintage / antique Yaesu Musen FT-207R portable radio in amazing appearing condition. A yaesu collector would really like this radio for a display – so nice. Sadly this radio does not seem to work properly and needs some repair. Radio physical condition is a 9.5 out of 10 – its so clean. The aluminum trim is in excellent condition unlike any I have ever seen (not pitted :). When I power the unit up the display comes on at 700 and TX light comes on, I don’t get any sound out of the speaker. I was able to dial around but TX light stays on and I don’t hear anything. I don’t think it was transmitting when it shows in TX mode. There was a few times when I powered it up and the green light came on with static sound but I was not able to dial aroun. In Summary – it has a problem and needs some repair. Battery back inside radio – Probably dead and will not hold charge due to age. Original Yaesu rubber duck. DC car power adapter model # pa-2.
